Frequently asked questions

Most apprenticeships last between 12 and 24 months, depending on the level and programme. Level 2 programmes are typically shorter (12-15 months), while Level 4 and Level 5 programmes can take 18-24 months. Your tutor will give you a clear timeline at the start.
Entry requirements vary by programme. For Level 2, you generally don't need any formal qualifications — enthusiasm and the right attitude matter most. For higher levels (Level 3 to Level 5), some prior experience or qualifications may be needed, but we assess each person individually. If you're not sure, just get in touch and we'll help you find the right starting point.
Every apprenticeship ends with an End-Point Assessment (EPA), which is your final assessment. This isn't a traditional exam — it usually includes a project, a professional discussion, and sometimes a practical observation. Your tutor prepares you thoroughly, and the assessment is based on what you've learned throughout your programme. There are no surprise exams along the way.
Yes, absolutely. If you're already employed, you can do an apprenticeship in your current role with your current employer. You don't need to change jobs. Your employer just needs to agree to it — and because apprenticeship training is government-funded, it costs them little or nothing. We handle all the setup and paperwork.
No. There is no upper age limit for apprenticeships. You can start at 16, and there's no maximum age. We have learners in their 20s, 30s, 40s and beyond. The only requirement is that you're in eligible employment and the programme represents new learning for you.
Apprenticeship levels correspond to qualification levels. Level 2 is equivalent to GCSEs, Level 3 is equivalent to A-levels, Level 4 is equivalent to a foundation degree or HNC, and Level 5 is equivalent to a foundation degree or HND. We deliver programmes from Level 2 to Level 5, covering everything from entry-level roles through to senior management positions.
That's completely fine — and very common. Get in touch with our team and we'll have a conversation about your interests, skills and goals. We can help you explore different options and find a programme that's right for you. There's no pressure to decide straight away.
